There will also be games on Saturday late afternoons at the Cochituate Fields beginning in May.

Minor League (Ages 9 & 10)

(Baseball DOB 8/31/11-9/1/09 - WLL Age Chart)

The Minor league program provides players with competitive games with umpires, playoffs and a championship game. Development of players is ongoing with training supplemented with formal skill development clinics.

Game and practices schedules are subject to how many players register for the league.  In 2019, all games were held on Tuesday and Friday evenings with practice times on Wednesday or Thursday.  Start time tends to be 6:00 PM and coaches often try to get kids thereby 5:30 PM for warmups. Games and practices typically run 90 minutes but could run a bit longer.  Coaches will let you know at the start of the season.

We will make every effort to keep that schedule in 2020, but we may add periodic Saturday evening games to accommodate a larger league. Please note, if you plan on Friday night you will not have a game on Saturday.

All players baseball aged 9 & 10 will play in the minor league.  Baseball age is based on the oldest the player will be in a given year before 9/1 of the baseball year.

A Minor League All-Star Game will be played in June. The teams are made up of players voted onto the team by their fellow team players. The All-Star game is made up of American League Team All-Stars vs National League Team All-Stars.
