Get a jump on the 2024 season.  Wayland Little League is offering two different Winter Sessions to improve your players baseball skills. 

Session 1 -  Fielding, Throwing, and Gameplay

Players will learn the proper mechanics and improve their game with throwing fielding, and Little League gameplay.   Players will receive an Evaluation Report on their Fielding and Throwing at the end of the clinic. Player evaluations will show where your player is doing well and what areas and drills they can do to improve their game.

Session 2 -  Hitting and Fitness 

Players will learn the proper hitting mechanics with age-appropriate drills and instruction.  Players will learn the strategy behind hitting and be provided with a Player Evaluation Hitting report at the end of the clinic. Player evaluations will show where your player is doing well and what areas and drills they can do to improve their hitting.                    

DATES               5x Sunday Sessions - March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

1:00 - 2:00 pm – Ages 11-13 Grades 5th, 6th, 7th (Majors)
2:00 - 3:00 pm – Ages 9-10 Grades 3rd and 4th (Minors)  
3:00 - 4:00 pm – Ages 7-8 Grades 1st and 2nd (Rookies/Sluggers)

The development of young athletes is a progressive process requiring time, purposeful direction, and focus. Accordingly, we promote a positive and energetic learning environment. Athletes are provided ample opportunity to learn and develop their skills in a controlled setting designed to be extremely positive, persistent, and encouraging. Our goal is to help each player believe in their ability to Pitch and Catch a baseball.

Get a jump on the 2024 Big Diamond season! Players who want to get ready for Middle School and High School tryouts can work on their game.

Players will learn the proper mechanics and improve their game with throwing, fielding, and advanced gameplay on the big diamond instruction.   Players will receive an Evaluation Report at the end of the clinic. Player evaluations will show where your player is doing well and what areas and drills they can work on to improve their game.
